Three new paintings have been added to the shop page: “Autumn Winds”, a 36″ acrylic painted canvas, “Moonlight Serenade”, a 30″ canvas, and “Changing Seasons”, a 20″ canvas. The two larger ones will be on display at my gallery, Lawrence Street Gallery in Ferndale this month. The small ne, “Changing Seasons” is on exhibit at the Michigan Design Center in Troy, where Lawrence Street has become part of the Design Resource Center. We are hoping to expand our network of contacts to include interior decorators and collectors. But I’m really having too much fun making these abstract landscapes.
My work process has been to set up an acrylic painting, I usually do these in layers, and while they’re drying I work on an oil painting on the easel. Right now I’m working on some sailboat scenes and trying to incorporate some fun techniques and looks into them as well.
